I’m Danee and I’m a communications designer based in Istanbul.
Digital copy writing and brand identity are my bread and butter, or since I’m Filipino should I say rice and garlic?
I believe storytelling begins at a brand’s first glance, and my job is to craft a message that will make people listen.
When I’m not writing and designing, you can find me exploring Turkey with my family, doing some R&D in the kitchen, and desperately trying to keep my hydroponic plants alive.

A few fun facts:
Empathizing with other cultures comes naturally to me, as a third culture kid growing up in the Middle East. More recently, I lived in Beijing for two years before moving to Istanbul.
I’ve worked with a retail company, a technology news publisher, a global development network, and a telecommunications firm while volunteering for a disaster recovery foundation. These days I help out with the refugees here, while studying business & user experience design.
